The RevIQ brand system
From the first impression to the smallest widget. A shared language for our identity, our product and the people who build with us.
A little character.
A lot of clarity.
Warmth makes RevIQ recognizable. Precision makes it useful. Our mark, type, colors and organization identities work together, with the information always in focus.
- Recognizable
- Keep the logo, typeface and identity artwork consistent across every surface.
- Transparent
- Show units, time periods and data sources. Label examples. Never let decoration imply proof.
- Calm
- Use space and hierarchy to make complex information easy to read. Give motion a purpose.
One logo, two surfaces.
Use the full logo wherever space allows. Choose the variant with the most contrast against its background — dark on light, light on dark. Keep clear space around it equal to the height of the mark, and never place the logo on a busy or low-contrast background.
Keep at least one mark-height of clear space on every side. The dashed guide is construction, never part of the logo.
The mark, on its own.
Use the symbol where the full logo won’t fit — favicons, app icons, avatars. Keep its colors; never recreate or recolor it.
The platform is not a planet.
The orange mark represents RevIQ. Pixel planets represent individual organizations. Keep those two jobs distinct.
Use the full lockup on first introduction. Use the symbol in compact, already-recognizable contexts. Never rebuild the wordmark with live text.
Warm at the core. Clear in context.
Our core palette anchors the system. Role accents and semantic colors add meaning without changing the identity. Tap any swatch to copy its hex.
Color has a job.
The warm mark identifies RevIQ. Neutral surfaces carry information. These light-surface role accents orient the audience; semantic labels describe a condition.

Success is a state, not a publisher identity. Use a readable label and icon with the color.
Explain what needs attention. Never ask someone to interpret red or green alone.
For small status text on a light surface, use Success 800 #256533 or Red 700 #BE2818. The brighter Success swatch is a fill, not a small-text color. Brand Orange #FFA927 is distinct from interface Orange 600 #FFA756.
One typeface: RevIQ Sans.
RevIQ Sans brings the same character to headlines, reading copy and data. Weight, scale and spacing create hierarchy without introducing another visual voice.
Clarity is
the character.
Every figure has a unit. Every action has a clear label. The typography makes both easy to find.
- Headings
- Strong scale contrast, compact rhythm. Let long titles wrap.
- Reading
- Comfortable line lengths and at least 16px for guide prose. Avoid viewport-driven size jumps.
- Data
- Tabular figures, aligned columns and explicit units. Labels stay readable at 14px or above here.
RevIQ Sans is the primary family. Where its Latin font does not cover a script, keep the appropriate fallback rather than forcing missing characters. These are reference-page reading sizes, not a replacement for every product component’s type scale.
Organization identity
A familiar world.
At every scale.
The planet tells you who. The widget tells you what. Keep those two jobs distinct.
Northstar Media
Fictional organization · Canonical generation 1
Account examples below show Northstar Media. Only the identity changes; the sample data stays the same.
- Same organization, same mark
- Keep its seed, silhouette and colors intact. A rename does not create a new identity.
- Uploaded logos come first
- The planet is a fallback organization identity. It does not replace an uploaded logo or a customer’s brand.
- Color is identity, not status
- Keep role accents and status labels outside the planet. A green planet does not mean everything is healthy.
The working surface
Quiet identity.
Clear information.
Use one named identity for a related collection. Give the numbers, units and reading order the rest of the space.
Across the experience
One identity.
Different volume.
These are illustrative placement studies, not screenshots or evidence of shipped features.
Marketing: introduce
Give a fictional organization room in a product story. Keep real customer logos in customer proof.
Illustrative product story
A view into
Northstar Media.
Product: orient
Anchor an account header with a compact mark and a readable name. The organization remains recognizable as the task changes.

Widgets: contextualize
Identify the collection once. Individual metrics need units and labels, not a new planet of their own.

Supply paths: connect
Use planets for named organizations at the endpoints. A connection, impression or anonymous step does not get its own identity.
Illustrative relationship, not a measured route

Behavior
Recognition should
not require motion.
The examples are deliberately still. A collection of identities is not a collection of animations.
Northstar Media
Static, with the same information intact
- Keep lists quiet. No spinning planets, pulsing badges or attention-seeking loops.
- Respect reduced motion. Never make animation the only way to recognize an organization or understand a state.
- Make interaction visible. The organization buttons work with Tab, Enter and Space, with an explicit selected state and a clear focus ring.
A few rules keep it recognizable.
- Use the supplied logo files, unmodified
- Keep clear space around the logo
- Use the variant with the most contrast
- Use the approved brand colors
- Recolor, rotate, or distort the logo or mark
- Add shadows, outlines, or other effects
- Place the logo on busy or low-contrast backgrounds
- Rebuild the wordmark in another typeface
Use the system. Keep the meaning.
Before you publish
- Use the supplied logo, with the correct contrast and clear space.
- Keep organization names and their identity artwork together.
- Check small screens, keyboard focus and reduced motion.
- Label illustrative data and separate concepts from product claims.
